Hi, I’m Sarah

I didn’t go to therapy—I became an organizer instead.

At four, my idea of play was sorting toiletries and telling my mom not to mess them up. While other kids played video games, I built systems. My intelligent, tender-hearted mother struggled with the daily rhythms of keeping a home—her perfectionism and procrastination often tangled together. Add work, illness, and too many hats to wear, and life became overwhelming for my mom. My childhood way of coping? Sorting my things and making cardboard box dividers—before Marie Kondo was even born.

Since 2016, I’ve been professionally helping people get their lives together—starting in Orange County, CA and Dallas, and now headquartered in Reno, Nevada. I work locally in Reno and Tahoe, and travel to Orange County, CA, Denver, Salt Lake City, and the Dallas/Fort Worth area. If you want to have a home so you can cook at home AND be able to find your wine opener blindfolded—I’m your person!

At Reset & Ready, I work with all kinds of clients:

  • The Perfectionist who wants their spice rack alphabetized and their towels folded like origami.

  • The Creative Tornado who has brilliant ideas but can’t find their keys.

  • The ADHD Genius who’s juggling five businesses and still losing their phone in the couch cushions.

  • And the Exhausted Mom who’s expected to know where every sock, charger, and permission slip is and self medicates with ice cream when the kids finally go to sleep (It’s okay. I see you.)

  • I also work tenderly with Life Transitioners—those moving to long term care facilities, downsizing, relocating, grieving, or rebuilding after divorce. These moments are messy. They’re emotional. They’re exhausting. And they’re exactly when you need support to live your next chapter with clarity and hope. I learned much from how to support through these times from my beloved father who was a compassionate minister and grief counselor.

  • And YOU especially if you’re a unicorn that defies a category!

I’ve lived in everything from one-bedroom apartments to sprawling mansions, and I’ve downsized with two dogs and a kid for the sake of a good school. I’ve moved all over the country and lived in different countries seeing how other cultures use their space. I’ve learned that organizing isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating a space that works for you. A little comfy lived-in mess is fine. Disorganization that steals your sanity? Not so much.

With a master’s in city planning from the University of Virginia, I studied how systems shape the health of communities. Now I bring that same lens to home life—designing home environments where every pantry, closet, and routine supports the specific values of that home whether it be calm, health, fun, creativity, efficiency and more!

I bring compassion, expertise, intuition, and a healthy dose of humor. I’ll cry with you, laugh with you, or just quietly put away your kitchen utensils while you take a nap. Or I’ll hand hold you through the piles of papers in your home office that are giving you panic attacks. I believe everyone can learn to maintain a space that supports their life—if they have the right teacher. Let’s reset your space and get you ready for your life! You’ll feel so much freer, lighter and energetic!
